Saturday night was set on fire, the atmosphere was lit. Any one who was there can confirm to that. A bunch of creatives were once again united and dancing to one tune. It was “One Source Live” once again, set up by Absolut vodka SA, an event that was first launched in March 2018 where four artists from Africa where selected to be the fore front of it as main characters and super heroes with special powers. Khuli Chana Sho Madjozi (The rain queen), Trevor Stuurman(The explorer) Osborne Macharia (The eye). The main aim is to tell a positive story about Africa as a creative engine.
At the event there were multiple stages, where the other was “Discovery stage” where Sho Madjozi was hosting and she had to pick up-and-coming artist of her choice and get them prepared to to perform. There was also Street art zone.
Other well known artists such as D’banj, Shane Eagle, Trompies, Distruction boys, DJ PH, and Sjava, also blessed the crowd with their stunning performance.
