This year’s fashion week started on Thursday the 17th August, and went on till Saturday the 19th. It was held at the “Mall of Africa”, in Midrand. The set-up was good as usual. On entrance, a showcase of Mercedes Benz, with one black, and one white mean coupe’s. Following that was a red carpet and a black backdrop banner with title sponsors.
This year’s Fashion week was more than just fashion, entrepreneur were given pop-up stores around the mall . Guest Speakers were given a platform to talk and to engage with the audience about creative, and digital marketing topics.
David Tlale showed up alongside his team of interns of a popular TV show “The Interns”, who were showing their pieces as well.
Some of Other well known designers who showed their collections at this years event were, Gavin Rajah, Thulani Sindi, Khosi Nkosi, Quiteria & George, and many more.
