A three days of fashion week got young designers a chance to showcase their latest work and to compete with one another as AFI FASTRACK Top Ten.
“Fastracking your fashion future” was not more than a theme on the three days event. The Fastrack top ten namely, Chesney Day Williams, Velly Maswanganye, Christine Murage from Kenya, Sibusiso Malete, Karabo Mokgaothleng, Neo Ranganka, Leah Possemiares, Marquin Sampson, and Tayla Nguskos.
FASTRACK’S goal is “to grow a new generation of designers who are innovative, have a clear understanding of design, are also in touch with what consumers want and need, and can therefore be globally relevant an commercially viable”.
