This year SA Fashion Week came in with full force. Sponsored by Cruz Vodka, it was set up at the roof top of Sandton city mall, and it went on for five days. Day two was an off site show, staged at Auckland Park 44 Stanley. There we had designers such as Black Coffee, Guillotine Design, Five8ths, and Hse of Bespoke by Waseefa Hutton.
I got a chance to meet up with bloggers from as far as New York who came to see what South Africa had to offer, They were blown away by the whole experience, the designs of our local designers and as well as the vibe around. SAFW also had a trade show going on on the entrance. Designers got a chance to sell and market their products to buyers. From jewelry, custom made shoes, colorful socks and craft. SAFW also was celebrating its 21st.
I for once can say that i was blown away. Cant wait for the next one.
